Rais Ahmed Khan

District Governor Rais Ahmed Khan born in Mirpurkhas. He completed his early education from Mirpurkhas and graduated from the Sindh University, Jamshoro. He also completed his graduation in Law from Mirpurkhas Law
College, Mirpurkhas.District Governor Rais Ahmed Khan joined Rotary in the year 1984. He is the 4th District levels with distinctions. He is a recipient of many Rotary awards for his meritorious services. DG Rais Ahmed Khan has extensively traveled to various countries for Rotary training as well as for family excursion which includes USA, UK, India, Thailand, Taiwan, Philippines.

He is actively participating in activities of Rotary Pakistan Literacy Mission.A part from Rotary, DG Rais Ahmed Khan has been actively associated withsocial clubs and philanthropy organizations.

DG Rais services in the education field are phenomenal. He is the Chief Executive and founder of Alis Education Society, comprising. National Institute of Emerging Sciences, Little Folks Higher Secondary School.
He also served as:

  • Member syndicate Shaheed Benazir Bhutto University of Veterinary & Animal Sciences Sakrand.
  • Member Sindh University, Jamshoro; Sindh Agriculture University, Tando Jam.
  • Member Board of Governors, Intermediate Board, Mirpurkhas, – Vice Chairman Hilal-e-Ahmer, Sindh
  • Vice Chaiman SIndh Football Association.

DG Rais Ahmed Khan is a Managing Director of Mohsin Raza Agriculture Live Stock Farms. He contested twice for the National Assembly of Pakistan seat from Mirpurkhas. His younger brother Anis Ahmed Khan, Advocate was also a National Assembly Member. Their father Muhammad Rafiq Khan was employed as General Manager by Sir Roger Thomas Agriculture Farms, a renowned agriculture and Advisor to British Government before partition in 1947.

District Governor Rais Ahmed Khan is happily married to Talat Almas 20 years ago. Together they have one son Rahem Ali Khan, Studying in London.
